Roller Hockey Canada Leads Another Exciting New Chapter for Inline Hockey
Following the historic merger of Roller Hockey Canada and Canada Inline, we are proud to announce the unification of two respected national development programs, Pure Maple and True North. This alignment creates a stronger, more inclusive national pathway for athletes from coast to coast, built upon the foundations of successful programming and representing Roller Hockey Canada’s shared commitment to collaboration, inclusivity, athlete development, and the long-term growth of our sport across the country.
One Nation. One Pathway. Endless Opportunity.
Roller Hockey Canada’s newly unified program will serve as the nation's premier travel and development program for inline hockey athletes.
Built on the combined strengths of both organizations, RHC's national program will:
Unite athletes from every province and territory under one new national identity.
Provide inclusive programming for players of all backgrounds and skill levels.
Expand access to premier tournaments and international competition opportunities.
Foster collaboration between leagues, associations, coaches, and communities across Canada.
Offer opportunities for athletes through both development and elite streams.
Through this unification, Roller Hockey Canada is creating more opportunities and easier access than ever before for Canadian athletes to learn, compete, grow, and represent our country on some of the sport's biggest stages.
Honoring Our Contributors, Building Our Future, Stronger Together
We acknowledge the valuable legacy of both programs. For years, Pure Maple provided critical opportunities for players to compete at major events and helped develop future national team talent. Similarly, the True North program demonstrated the power of unifying athletes from diverse provinces, leagues, and hockey communities under a shared Canadian identity.
Roller Hockey Canada’s vision brings these efforts together. This unification is not about replacing one program with another; it is about combining the best elements of both to build a national system that is larger, stronger, and more sustainable for future generations. This foundational partnership is now backed by Roller Hockey Canada’s strong organizational support, national exposure, and proven player development model to deliver an unmatched travel inline hockey experience across Canada.
Governed by Roller Hockey Canada, Driven by Community Leadership
A crucial element of this next phase is integrating experienced volunteer leadership under the Roller Hockey Canada banner. The Infinite Athletics Society board members, who successfully oversaw the True North program with a mission focused on accessible, high-quality development and placing athletes and families first, will now join forces with Roller Hockey Canada.
This experienced board will collaborate with RHC leadership to help govern, administer, and guide the future of the national program. With Roller Hockey Canada leading the collaboration among Pure Maple, True North, and the acquired Canada Inline organization, we bring proven governance, national reach, and a unified vision for growing the game across Canada.
RHC: Building the Future of the Game
The merger of Roller Hockey Canada and Canada Inline, alongside the development program unification, represents a commitment to unity, collaboration, and the future of our sport. Roller Hockey Canada is focused on more than just elite competition. We, our growing network of partners, and our new collaborators are committed to ensuring every athlete has an opportunity to participate, develop, and represent Canadian programs. Whether a player is new to travel hockey or pursuing international aspirations, RHC will ensure a place for them within this program.
🍁 Registration Update from Roller Hockey Canada
As Roller Hockey Canada moves forward with this exciting new partnership, we are providing key information regarding registrations for the upcoming NARCh Finals in July in Irvine, California.
Both True North and Pure Maple registrations will remain open throughout the registration period. All athlete registrations will be consolidated at the close of registration as part of our collaborative national planning process, ensuring the best possible opportunities for players and teams across Canada.
Athletes may register through either platform. However, families who have not yet registered are encouraged to use the Pure Maple platform. This platform will serve as the primary registration hub for this tournament and will help streamline administrative processes as RHC continues building a unified national pathway.
Most importantly, regardless of the chosen registration platform, your athlete will be included in the same national planning process as RHC works to create stronger teams, expanded opportunities, and a more connected future for inline hockey in Canada.
Together, Roller Hockey Canada is building something bigger than any one program.
One country. One culture. One game.
The maple leaf remains a symbol of national pride, reflecting Roller Hockey Canada’s shared belief that inline hockey in Canada is strongest when our communities and programs work together. By opening doors for athletes nationwide, we are building a program capable of competing with the best in the world while ensuring everyone has the opportunity to be part of the journey. By bringing together passionate volunteers, experienced administrators, dedicated coaches, supportive families, and athletes from every corner of the country, Roller Hockey Canada is building a program that reflects the very best of Canadian sport - creating opportunities regardless of geography, experience level, or background.
Governed by Roller Hockey Canada
One Nation. One Team. One Future.
GO MAPLE NATION!
