Games, team activities, and tournament events may take place in both Irvine and Corona throughout the event. Families should factor ground transportation time into their travel plans when booking flights and accommodations.

🚗 GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Players and families are responsible for arranging their own transportation throughout the event.
Transportation options include:
- Rental vehicles
- Uber
- Lyft
- Taxi services
- Hotel shuttle services where available
Many families choose to rent vehicles due to the distance between hotels, restaurants, attractions, and tournament facilities.
If flying into John Wayne Airport (SNA) and staying at the designated team hotel, shuttle options may be available depending on the hotel selected. Details will be provided with hotel information when applicable.
Please ensure transportation arrangements allow sufficient time to arrive at games, team meetings, and activities.
🏨 HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Official Maple Nation Inline hotel booking information will be provided through Roller Hockey Canada and Maple Nation Inline.
While families are not required to stay at the designated team hotel, it is strongly encouraged.
Staying together helps create a better overall experience through:
- Team bonding and camaraderie
- Easier communication between families and staff
- Team meetings and activities
- Shared tournament experiences
- Building friendships among players and families from across Canada
Hotel booking links and information will be provided once finalized.
Please note that hotel blocks often have booking deadlines and may sell out prior to the tournament. Families are encouraged to book accommodations as early as possible.
⏰ TRAVEL PLANNING REMINDERS
Before booking travel:
- Confirm your team's tournament dates
- Allow sufficient travel time from the airport to your hotel and rink
- Consider potential California traffic delays
- Review hotel booking deadlines
- Ensure all travelers have valid passports and required travel documentation
If you have questions regarding flights, accommodations, or travel planning, please contact us before making final arrangements.
🎢 EXTENDING YOUR TRIP
Southern California offers many attractions that families may wish to enjoy before or after the tournament.
Popular options include:
- Disneyland
- Universal Studios Hollywood
- California Adventure
- Professional sporting events
- Beaches and sightseeing attractions
- Family vacation activities
If you plan to participate in these activities, we strongly recommend adding additional travel days before or after the tournament.
Tournament schedules, team meetings, and game commitments make it difficult to participate in major attractions during competition days.
