Roller Hockey Canada AGM
ROLLER HOCKEY CANADA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
What is an AGM?
An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a yearly meeting where a nonprofit organization brings together its members, leadership, and community stakeholders to review the past year, discuss the future direction of the organization, and provide transparency around the work being done.
For Roller Hockey Canada, the AGM is an important opportunity to connect with our membership, share updates, recognize contributions, and continue building a strong foundation for the growth of inline hockey across Canada.
Purpose of the AGM
The AGM allows Roller Hockey Canada to:
- Review the organization’s progress and accomplishments from the previous year
- Share updates on programs, leagues, events, and initiatives
- Present financial updates and organizational reports
- Discuss future plans, priorities, and opportunities
- Receive feedback and input from members and stakeholders
- Elect or confirm leadership positions where required
- Ensure the organization continues operating with transparency and accountability
A Member-Driven Organization
As a nonprofit, member-driven organization, Roller Hockey Canada believes the strength of the organization comes from the people involved in the sport.
The AGM provides a place for members, leagues, associations, volunteers, and supporters to have a voice in the continued development of inline hockey in Canada.
The goal is not only to review where we have been, but to work together on where we are going.
Building the Future of Inline Hockey
The AGM is part of our commitment to creating a sustainable future for the sport by:
- Supporting member leagues and organizations
- Expanding opportunities for athletes
- Developing pathways from grassroots participation to high-performance competition
- Strengthening partnerships and community involvement
- Continuing to improve the programs and experiences we provide
Together, through collaboration and shared commitment, we can continue growing inline hockey and creating opportunities for generations of athletes across Canada.
